SORRENTO
MORNING SON
ABOUT
Morning Son's latest release, "Sorrento" was written over 10 years ago as a reflection on a trip I took in college with the Worcester State Chorale. We traveled and sang in many incredible and historical places; from the Colosseum and ruins of Rome, to the mountainous shores on the Amalfi Coast. I also fell in love in Sorrento and my life was never the same...Such a pivotal and divine experience deserves a beautiful and unique song...enjoy!

LYRICS
You can do it if you want...
See, lemon trees don't grow where I'm from,
There's a hill across the bay,
Where ages ago, several people died, Pompei
Then the sun came down like a host,
Like a messenger on the Amalfi coast...
Was that you?
Sorrento, save my soul,
See, up til now, I've been out of control,
Let your waters heal my skin,
you mountain peaks shield me from the wind
You turned the sea to glass,
The mountains into gold,
I'm suffering the view,
Of beauty never told,
You're a mirror in the sky,
Reflecting in my eyes...
Reflecting who You are,
Reflecting who I am
Then the sun came down like a host,
Like a messenger on the Amalfi coast...
That was you...
There's no way there's no You...
